Stormi Parish, CCS, CDW. Trainer and Behavior Consultant. Stormi holds a Certificate in Canine Studies from the Seattle School of Canine Studies, and is an alumni from the Companion Animal Science Institute. She is certified in pet CPR and first aid, and a member of APDT (Association of Pet Dog Trainers) and AABP (Association of Animal Behavior Professionals).

Her career began as the neighborhood dog walker in Dallas, Texas, and continued on as she moved to Seattle in 2004 and took a job working at a high-volume local dog daycare. Her talent in training was quickly realized as she embarked on an impressive journey through the competitive obedience field earning UKC Companion Dog (UCD) title, Therapy Dog and Canine Good Citizen (CGC) status with her own deaf dog. Her love for training lead her to seek a professional education in animal learning and behavior, giving her a strong foundation of how dogs learn and why they do those interesting dog things that they do.

Combining her life-long experience with dogs, her academic background in companion animal learning and behavior, and her keen technical eye and innate sense of dog behavior, Stormi is able to effectively address everything from teaching basic obedience to problem-behavior modification and understanding your canine pal.

Stormi also coaches group classes at University Canine Learning Academy, and continues to presue the most up-to-date advances in the behavior world by attending seminars and conferences conducted by the most renowned animal behavior experts such as Nicole Wilde, CPDT, Victoria Stilwell, Dr. Sophia Yin, DVM,  Sarah Kalnajs, CDBC,  Kim Moeller, CTC,  Temple Grandin, PhD, and DogTec's Dog Walker Academy.
